DeGrazia Live at the Paramount Theater
“Expressive, melodic, and virtuosic, DeGrazia’s Live at the Paramount is a musical and emotional journey that evokes the spirits of Carlos Montoya and Paco Peña while touching on a much more personal vein. Simply put, DeGrazia’s latest release sounds like Domingo DeGrazia, both the person and the musician. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Domingo DeGrazia creates music that truly sounds like the south west; Live at the Paramount plays like a mixture between a moving film score and a long journey down a dusty road. Recorded during an intimate performance for family and friends, Live at the Paramount is the first DeGrazia recording featuring violinist Beth Daunis, who’s energetic and charismatic performance elevates DeGrazia’s music to previously unknown heights. Accompanied by renowned recording engineer and percussionist Jim Pavett, classical guitar virtuoso Dustin Jones, and international touring bassist Mark Brugler, DeGrazia provides an inspired performance of unparalleled caliber. Live at the Paramount is out October 1st and will be available at OpenViewMusic.com.
